Could This Be The End of Android?

Now would be a good time for Google wish Oracle had not taken over and purchases Sun Microsystems. Sun Microsystems where the guys behind the Java Framework until Oracle took control. So what has Java got to do with the title of this article? Well, Java is the whole reason that Oracle has sued Google.

Blender 3D Right Out Of The Kenyan Pot

Aton toonsHere’s to introducing the wonderful world of Aton Toons. An African centered cartoon strip, animated clips and more that promises compromised humor like you have never seen it before. You wont find these on the Blender gallery, Well at least not yet anyway.

KenyaWe are way into August already, how time passes by when you’ve got a million and one things to do. Unfortunately these things are keeping me away from my computer screen and you know what that means… less writing, less developing. More wasted moment and a pile of “wish I”s. Yeah so lets see what I have in store this issue.

MariaDB, is the MySQL forked database Server that uses the Maria storage engine as the default transactional and non-transactional storage engine. SEACOM Service Down

Seacom has reported that their underwater cable which is supposed to provide broadband Internet to countries within East Africa is down. Though the service within Africa should be okay seeing they have a protected ring connecting Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique and South Africa. It is mainly Traffic towards Europe and India that is affected.

This one takes the cake, Space Networks happens to be a tech company in Kenya dealing with VSAT related stuff and probably operate a Network Operations Center (NOC). You know what, this is seriously scary. Again this just goes to show where the problem lies as far as security of Kenya websites and Networks lies. The situation cant get any worse than this, can it?

Then there is this one, the Government of Kenya website. It was initially thought that it had been hacked into but it so happens that actually after further digging I can determine that this one is a false alarm. It happens to be cloaking and not hacking. I think I should take a break on my caffeine intake.

Okay here is another one for you, the Kenya administration police website got hacked and that just adds to the sorry list of shame of horribly developed Kenya websites. This being a Kenya Government law enforcement body does not make the situation any better. The website was hacked into and defaced and there is now some dude with a machine gun keeping vigil.
