Nokia Announced today that it has released QT 4.2.6 cross-platform application and UI framework. So what does this mean? Well for starters, a better platform than any previous versions before it.This will be interesting to download and use as it brings in much anticipated features such as the Smart installer for Symbian (BETA). There is also a QT port to Maemo 5. Something I am looking forward to trying out is the newly updated QT Visual Studio Add-in. It will also be interesting to note that there are new QT APIs from the mobility project too.
In addition to these there are numerous bug fixes and updates to the SDK. Follow this announcement to learn more about these new features and see the changes in QT 4.2.6 here. You may also download QT 4.2.6 from here.
