Now that Sobbayi.com 3.0 has gone live, I kinda feel relieved. It’s like a tonne of bricks has been lifted from the top of my head. After shutting down Sobbayi.com 2.0 earlier this year, I never thought this day would come. Back then I decided to just run my blog and leave it at that.
I was increasingly finding it hard to keep up with my work schedules day by day and just decided to slow down and just focus my extra curricula on writing rather than using my free time to make computers do things you would never think they could do.
So basically just a brief description of the direction Sobbayi.com 3.0 took, I really didn’t plan it to end up as it it. I just planned to open it up the way it was and continue running it. Fate would have it another way. Basically I decided to make the site more interactive and engage the users more; a place to come to and just hang out when the users are bored in the office, home and school. Okay I shouldn’t have added school to that list but I guess so far no dogs have died because of it.
So basically one of the most noticeable additions is the Game Pad on the Website’s landing page. I will in the weeks to come be adding several games. Some will be Single Player, against the computer while others will be multi-player against network users or simply between two gamers in the same room.
On the game menu I have some classics such as Pong, Tic-tac-toe, Space Invaders, Tetris and a must do… Asteroids. To add to this I have some original titles lined up and I ain’t saying anything about them.
Some of the games mentioned and others will be available for download for free or for a minimum cost for your desktop or mobile device.
In addition to the games I will be putting up conversion mathematical and metric calculators or whatever. Okay I forgot one thing as far as games are concerned… Puzzles. Yeah that’s definitely going to be in the picture as well.
On top of all that, there is a section where I will be putting up some Utilities, Tools and Widgets. For now I wont let too much of the cat out of the basket but I will keep you all posted.
Last but not least I will be taking up projects on Software development and Web development as a whole.
