After some heartfelt consideration, SI undertook the responsibility designing and developing the House of Grace Church Website. The website has been available online for about 2 months now.

I was charged with developing the site on the fly. Right from start, the site had to go up despite the fact that 97% of the content was not available at the time. I had to roll out the daily devotionals and let that run as we wait for the rest of the content to be availed.

Anyway that was back in January 2006.

Come March 2006 the site has undergone several facelifts its now full of content, well at least most of it. I went on to add a few tools that will be instrumental in having the site used as a research portal in addition to other facilities.

Included in the site is the bible search tool backed by the Holy Bible in four versions namely King James, New King James, New International Version (NIV) and the New Testament in Swahili.

The site is about to go into BETA stage. It is however in Alpha and its implementation has proved to be quite stable. This is a long-term project that I have undertaken. Once the site reaches release version we shall immediately embark on the next phase, which involves building a content management module. It will allow the church member to handle the site updates without having to run back to me. The site content is currently updated and managed by us.

Without revealing too much of what features are going to be added to the site, I would only commit to saying that this website and the ministry at large is destined to become an informative source and portal for the spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.
